With over a thousand gigs under his belt and studying with world class musicians such as Scott Henderson, Bob Magnusson, and Gary Willis, Eric brings to Cats n Jammers Studios the experience, technique and applied theory needed to reach a higher level of musicianship.

Nate Leavitt
 

Nate's approach with the students is to focus on details and likes to apply "slow is smooth, smooth is fast" to learning music.  
Nate has been playing music for 25 years and is a veteran of the Boston music scene, having played his first gig at age 16.  
Today, he continues to play with his rock band The Blizzard of 78 as well as lend his talents to various other projects.

Bryan Savoy
 

Learning tips: Your instrument is your second voice; speak clearly, confidently, and choose fitting phrases. Also, there are no shortcuts.

Everything you want can be yours if you have the patience to work on it.

Fun Fact: I am a huge skydiving fan. I'll hopefully be acquiring my license this summer.

Karen Coughlin Patrena
 

A few words to describe Karen would be...passionate, enthusiastic, and creative. But the first to come to mind is fun! Her vast experience performing and teaching in New York City and overseas is a great asset to Cats n Jammers.

Karen is 'in tune' with each student as an individual and she applies this to her teaching philosophy.

Liz Frame
 

Boston-based singer-songwriter Liz Frame wrote her first song at age nine, and has been performing her own brand of rootsy Americana music since her early teens. She brings this this natural talent to Cats n Jammers and the results are stunning. Her method of 'less is more' and an ability to coach the students to write great songs & lyrics is something we are very excited about.
